Your own column in Dominica 1
Dominica 1 does not print newsroom copy alone. If you want to write here regularly and keep a column of your own, the Mosaic network runs a separate service for that, Columnist, and this publication is connected to it.
Access is free. You register, fill in a columnist profile, your byline, your subjects, a short biography, and you can publish columns in Dominica 1 and in the network’s other publications that appear in English; there are 11 of them today.
A column runs in one of the publication’s sections: News, Weather & Alerts, Politics & Government, Business & Economy, Culture & Community, Environment & Nature, Caribbean, Sports.
How it works
- Register at columnist.mib.news and confirm your email.
- Your profile: byline, what you write about, biography, photograph.
- A new column: pick the language, the publication and the section, write in the editor, add a cover image. Your first piece is approved once by hand, after that you publish on your own.
- The column appears in the publication’s own design, under your name, with an author page; you can edit it after it is out.
What we publish and what we do not
- A column and an opinion, not an advertisement. We do not publish direct advertising at all.
- No external links in the text.
- One text, one publication: the same piece does not run in several titles at once.
