Shain Bradley Hill Joseph, 30, of Morne Daniel, who resided in Georgia, USA, passed away on August 8, 2026. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Shirley Joseph; his father, Simon Joseph; his twin sister, Shainell Hill; his brother, Shirmon Joseph; and a wide circle of family and friends in Dominica and abroad.
Born into the Joseph and Augustine families, Shain is also survived by his grandparents, Muriel Joseph and Victor Augustine, and his godparents, Victoria Etienne, Agnes Etienne, and Eric Marie Calixe. His nephews, Liam Joseph, Kian Joseph, and Mezziah Joseph, will carry his memory forward, as will his uncles Swinburne Augustine, Donavan Fabien, Germaine Liburd, and Isiah Joseph, and his aunts Charlene Severin, Ingrid Augustine, Florence Bertillia, Dover, Mona Deravariere, Phyllis Joseph, and Rosline Joseph.
Close cousins include Albert Augustine, Tamara Duclaire, and Pearl Dover. Special mention is made of Miss Cuncy Felix, Janice, Delma, Athenia, Marilyn, and their families. He will also be remembered by relatives and friends too numerous to mention, including the Augustine, Etienne, and Williams families of Delices; Lucy Eloi and the families of Salisbury; the Marie Calixe family in Martinique; the St. Jean family of Bath Estate; the Daniel families of Boetica and Stockfarm; the Dover family of Stockfarm; Pastor David Serrant; and members of the Deliverance Baptist Church.
Shain will be lovingly remembered by his family, godparents, relatives, friends, and everyone whose life he touched with his love, warmth, and beautiful smile. Although his journey was filled with many challenges, his loving spirit and smile will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Deliverance Baptist Church. The family invites all who knew Shain to join them in honouring his memory.
