Rose Marie Lockhart of Upper Lane, Roseau, who died on 11 September, will be viewed at Bethesda Methodist Church on 6 October from 1:30 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and interment at the Public Cemetery.
Her body will be transported from North Eastern Funeral Home. The Women's League and Choir of Bethesda Methodist Church, the Bethesda congregation and the staff of Optimal Health Care Nursing Home are among those named to remember her.
She is survived by her adopted daughter, Mrs Henrietta Prosper, and son-in-law Henry Prosper. Her grandchildren are Aisha, Kareem and Tayjoun Prosper.
Her sisters are Charmaine Thomas, Valda James and Christine Branch. She also leaves adopted sisters Jean Deschamps and Phyllis Da Silva, and brothers-in-law Manley James and Vincent Thomas.
Her nieces and nephews include Andy, Clive, Wayne and Shadee, Sarah, Joel, Adeiah, Claudette, Joyce, Vanya, Benadine, Ivo, Patricia Shillingford, Annette, Eustace, Patricia, Picky, Randy, Albert Cecil and Editha.
Among her cousins are Hettie Laudat, Kevin White, Fitz and Lenroy Groton, Roland Laudat, Cosy and Philbert Foye, Pastor Randy Rodney, Micheal Rodney, Brenda George, Dave, Brandon, Lynne, Davis and Kazya Laudat, Treva Williams-Philogene, Gairy, Eric, Duncan Williams, Joan Boland, Emily Thomas, Miriam Brown, Herbert Parillion, and Chris, Paul and Martha Joseph.
Adopted relatives include Unille, Medora, Phyllis and Earl Deschamps; Curtis, Elaine and Lennis Bruno and family; Lucina Bruno Greenaway and family; Philip and Gen Severin and family; Sandra James and Joshua Daisy; Ashton Parker and family; Ronnie and Judith Severin and family; and Roy and Matilda Popo and family.
Her godchildren are Lennis Bruno, Keren Williams, Jennifer Sylvester and Ronald Bruno.
