The community of Pointe Michel is in mourning following the passing of Magdalene Bruney, known affectionately as Alize or Ado, of Antrizle. Mrs Bruney, 68, died on August 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and neighbours in the south-western village she called home.
Born into the Viville family, Magdalene was a familiar and cherished figure in Pointe Michel, where she resided for many years. Her warm presence and ready smile made her a beloved member of the community, and news of her death has brought profound sadness to those who knew her.
Mrs Bruney was preceded in death by her son, Severin Bruney, a loss that deeply affected her. She leaves to mourn her husband, Thomas, along with other family members, relatives, and friends who will remember her kindness and strength.
