Wilson Alexander of Maranatha Square, Pichelin, has died in Nevis at the age of 43. His family announced the death in a public notice, describing him as a beloved father, brother, son and friend. He passed away on August 10, 2026.

The announcement named his father, William Alexander, and stepmother, Gracella Alexander, both residing in St. Thomas. He leaves seven children: Shaquill Alexander, Shashwana Alexander, D’Ante Alexander, Leah Alexander, Elano Alexander, Wilana Alexander and Willano Alexander.

He is also survived by his sisters Marielize Alexander, Eunis Alexander and Durand, and his brother Nick Alexander. Wavel Jno Baptist is named as an adopted brother. His aunts are Melanie, Joan Bastien and Marle Joan Ettiene Julien. His nieces and nephews include Marleen Paquette, Jelani Baron, Kadimimir and Shante Durand, and Daniel Durand is named as brother-in-law.

Close friends and families listed in the notice include Vinetta Liburd, Alice Pascal and family, Marian and family, Maryjane and family, David Joseph and Cindy, Ano and family, Kerry Charles, Jason, Shikira Joyette, Yashma, Dr. Robinson and Tara Monic.

The family said he will also be remembered by the Alexander family of Grand Bay, the Bastien and Jno Jules families of Pichelin, the residents of Maranatha Square, and many other relatives and friends in Dominica and abroad.
