The Caribbean Association of Banks (CAB) has congratulated three professionals on completing their studies under the CAB–UWI Scholarship Programme, an educational benefit offered to employees of CAB member institutions across the region.
The graduates are Patricia C. Farrell, Manager of Credit Administration at ACB Caribbean; Rochelle Alphonse, Senior Manager of Tax and Operations at Grant Thornton East Caribbean; and Ashley Pickwoad, Senior Supervisor of the Credit Risk Unit at Heritage Bank Limited. Each completed their programme of study in 2025 or 2026 while continuing to hold senior leadership responsibilities.
The scholarship programme, delivered in partnership with The University of the West Indies (UWI), is part of CAB's commitment to professional development within the Caribbean financial services sector. It gives eligible employees of member institutions the opportunity to pursue higher education and build the skills needed to respond to an increasingly dynamic financial environment.
CAB Chief Executive Officer Wendy Delmar said the achievements of the three graduates demonstrate the transformative power of education and the importance of investing in people. Ms. Pickwoad's completion of her studies in 2026 exemplifies dedication to continuous development in the field of credit risk management.
