Caribbean Airlines has expanded its customer service offerings with the introduction of a luxury airport taxi service, providing ground transport to and from select airports and destinations in the United States. The service, available through independent third-party provider Dignitary Travel Worldwide, allows customers to arrange private transportation either to the airport ahead of their flight or from the airport to their final destination.
Transportation is available for individuals and groups, with vehicle options ranging from cars and SUVs to executive vehicles and coaches. Depending on availability, arrangements can accommodate groups of up to 55 passengers. Customers using the service will also have access to flight monitoring for airport pickups, child and infant seating options, wheelchair-accessible transportation upon request, and 24-hour customer support.
Commenting on the new service, Caribbean Airlines' Acting Chief Executive Officer, Varma Khillawan, said: «Our focus is on making travel easier for our customers, not only onboard our aircraft, but throughout their overall journey. By providing convenient access to ground transport taxi services, we are giving customers greater choice in how they plan their travel to and from the airport, while continuing to enhance the overall travel experience.»
The added service forms part of Caribbean Airlines' ongoing efforts to provide customers with greater convenience across their travel journey. Customers can access the taxi service through a dedicated booking link on the Caribbean Airlines website.
As this transportation service is independently provided and operated by Dignitary Travel Worldwide, all bookings, payments, amendments, cancellations, refunds, and transportation-related enquiries are managed directly by the provider and are subject to its applicable terms and conditions.
For Dominican travellers who frequently use Caribbean Airlines connections through the region, the new ground transport option adds a measure of certainty to the journey between airport and accommodation. The service targets the growing demand for seamless travel experiences, particularly for passengers arriving on late-night flights or departing on early-morning schedules when standard taxi availability may be limited.
The airline, which serves the Caribbean region including the Commonwealth of Dominica through its regional network, continues to position itself as a full-service carrier that extends beyond the aircraft cabin. This latest development follows a series of customer-focused initiatives aimed at improving the overall travel experience for passengers across its route network.
Caribbean Airlines operates scheduled services to destinations throughout the Caribbean, North America, and South America. The new taxi service is currently available for select airports and destinations in the United States, with the airline indicating that the offering may be expanded to other markets based on customer demand.
